Chatting chapstick and Chanel with Emma Roberts

Let's get the boring bit out of the way first. Yes, she is the niece of Julia Roberts. Now, moving onto HER achievements... The pretty ex-sleuth (yup, that was her in Nancy Drew) is also the star of the recent chick flick, Wild Child. And she let us stick our noses into her beauty bag...

My favourite feature is... probably my eyes coz I like using mascara and eyeliner a lot. You can transform your whole look really simply.

The beauty advice I dish to my friends is... always look your best. You never know who you'll see or meet!

I'm itching to get my hands on... the new Chanel mascara. I used it at a shoot and fell in love. Plus Nars loose powder and more Nars eyeshadow.

My most tragic turn with beauty was... the time I had my hair curled to look like Shirley Temple. It was SO curly. Just a disaster. Thankfully, I learnt from that - that was a long time ago.

But I also really hated... my Nancy Drew cut. Oh yeah, that was so sad! I love long hair, but they cut it all off for that movie so I had like a blunt cut, and I was so upset. I always have to do drastic things to my hair in the movies that I'm in, I don't know why. In Wild Child, I have that long blonde wig on all the time! It just looks funny.

So do blondes have more fun?  I think brown suits me more, but I loved the blonde wig! I got more attention from the boys with the blonde wig on! LOL.

I'm serially obsessed with... mascara. I'm addicted. I can go without everything but that!

My top red carpet look was... at the Nancy Drew premiere. It was summery and light. Plus my hair was back, which was new. I never wear it all the way back.
