Mary-Kate and Ashley reveal their greatest influences

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are global icons, influencing girls the world over with their bazillions of dollars and innate sense of style. Now the powerful pair will reveal to the world who influences them, through a coffee table book (aka a pretty picture book) which they have co-written. Aptly titled Influence, it is set to hit book stores in late 2008.

Ashley says of the project, "Mary-Kate and I have filled Influence with the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know-the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation."

Mary-kate adds, "Ashley and I interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others."

The twins have annouced that the book will feature icons such as shoe designer Christian Louboutin, model/actress Lauren Hutton, photographer Terry Richardson and writer Bob Colacello. It will also include never-before-seen materials and interviews from the duo's "private collection".

On their official website, a mystery blogger also revealed that the book will feature exclusive, individual and "gorgeous" photos from a shoot with world-renowned photographer Rankin.
