Hey Girlfriends,

While you guys were taking a break from school last month, and hearting or hating on the hype of the Twilight saga's New Moon, Team Girlfriend (don't cha love our cute tees?!) was flying from city to city with more pace than Edward, showing off our hotter-than-Jacob GirlfriendLIVE! pop-up store to teens around our gorge country.

The GirlfriendLIVE! saga (yes, I've got New Moon on the brain this ish) was kinda like making a movie then showing it to the public.

It took months of planning, weeks of promotion, three weekends, five days in NZ's biggest shopping malls, a lot of kilometres clocked up in the car, four flights, three hotels, too many suitcases and four veeeery excited on-the-road Girlfrienders. Oh, and an earthquake while we were in Wellington.

We wanted to create an über-space that reflected everything you see and read in GF, so a very girly shop and entertainment stage was made and placed in five malls.

We covered fashion, beauty, music, gaming, celeb spotting, hot boys, giveaways, fun, positivity - and even had a How Embarrassment booth, lol!

Like girlfriends do, we talked about everything - careers, interests, sports, teachers, bullying, boyfriends, movies, parents, magazines... The list goes on, and I loved hearing about you and your world. After two school-holiday weeks, we achieved our one big goal to meet girls - nearly 5000 of you, in fact!

I bonded with loads of you during Twilight conversations and talk of hot Twibes (Twilight boy tribes - yes, add it to the vocab). Although the Team Jacob vs Team Edward battle is raging, there's one thing every fan can agree on - NEW MOON WILL BE THE SHIZ.
