While our fave Home and Away hotties got the full ball treatment for our cover-shoot party, we stole Rebecca Breeds and Tessa James from the set for a good ol' chin wag.

GF: What's your best Home and Away memory?

Tessa: It would definitely be when Lincoln [Lewis] and I were filming on an island. We were there for three days and it was a good bonding experience.

Rebecca, what do you heart most about being Ruby?

Rebecca: The thing I like best about Ruby is I'd love to watch her. I don't cringe at her like I do about some other characters, who are a bit over the top. Ruby's a really beautiful balance, she shows her vulnerability but she tries so hard to be mature. She's very realistic but at the end of the day she's a hopeless romantic and an idealist. I love her, she's my fave character on the show and it's cool that I get to play her!

Tessa, what's your typical work-day routine?

Tessa: Nothing we do is normal but a standard week would go like this: Monday, you'll have rehearsals where you'll just read through all your scripts with the director. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday you're in the studio or on location somewhere. So you kind of go back and forth between the locations and the studio.

Can we chat to you on Bebo, Facebook or Twitter?

Rebecca: You know, I have a Facebook page that I never ever go on! I got it originally to keep in touch with my English relatives, but I just don't have time for it. I'm a very face-to-face person and I think that's better for growing social skills. AND I DO NOT HAVE A MYSPACE PAGE (Rebecca asked us to publish that in capital letters!) There are fake MySpace pages of me!

Tessa: I've been hearing a lot about Twitter and I'm interested to see what it's all about! So maybe I'll become a Twitter girl. But at the moment I'm on Facebook. I'm not addicted but it's just fun, even though I don't have much time for it.

Who would you say is your closest friend in the Home and Away cast?

Tessa: Definitely the boys. I mean Todd [Lasance], Lincoln, Conrad [Coleby] and Jess Tovey - those four are definitely my closest. But everyone's family.

Rebecca: Oh man, it's so hard. Charlotte [Best] and I have become very close in the past couple of months. I feel like a big sister kind of thing to her. And Esther [Anderson] plays my on-screen sister, so we have a very close kind of thing. And then the rest of the guys like Jordan [Rodrigues] and I just laugh our heads off, he's hilarious. Lincoln, Todd, Charlotte and I kind of live in the same area so sometimes we meet up and go to movies. Tessa and I get on like a house on fire. I think it's actually insane how well we all get along, considering that a bunch of random people are picked out, have had nothing to do with each other, and our only common interest we can guarantee is that we act. A lot of those kinds of people rub each other the wrong way whereas we all gel really well.

How do you focus on lines with all those hot boys around?!

Tessa: Oh gosh they would love to hear that! More like how do they concentrate with all us hot girls around, I think! [Laughs.] Nah it's fine, we just have fun. The boys aren't like that at all, you know they're really chill and casual, they're not arrogant or anything like that so we all just hang out. There's nothing really there despite how it might seem.

Rebecca: Oh yes! It's very tricky! [Laughs.] No, not at all, they become like brother figures.
It actually gets quite easy and sometimes you have to just sit them down and say, "Right, we're doing our lines!" But as attractive and fun-loving as they are, they're very driven, serious boys. After working with them for a year it's easy to not be distracted by their physiques!

Time to bring in the boys!

We decided to let Lincoln Lewis and Todd Lasance in on the conversation.

GF: What's one thing you'd change if you could go to your ball again?

RB: I would've worn different accessories.

TJ: I wouldn't wear fake tan!

LL: I would go even harder!

TL: I'd rock up in an Aston Martin Vantage... (laughs),
best car in the world!

If you could go to the school formal with your dream celebrity date,
who would you choose?

RB: Shia LaBeouf.

TJ: Ryan Reynolds.

LL: I'd normally say... yes, Jessica Alba, because she's sweet on the eye and can dance. Celebrity or not, I'd just want to take a girl who I could have fun with.

TL: That's a tough one. I wouldn't turn down Jessica Biel if she needed a date and I'd probably take model Bar Refaeli if she wanted company, too.

What's the best thing about working on Home and Away?

RB: Tessa James! [Laughs.]

TJ: The cast and crew.

LL: I love everything about it... except the early mornings.

TL: The fact that you can come to work every day and spend time with some of your closest friends, and being in a career you love is a rare opportunity.

What's your fave thing in your time off?

RB: Hang out with friends, play music and go for walks.

TJ: Exercise and go shopping.

LL: Go surfing or chill out with my mates.

TL: Sleep! And I pretty much live at the beach in summer, and love watching movies, playing paintball and going out with the fellas.

Do you ever get into mischief at work?

RB: Sometimes I can't stop laughing when I'm on set.

TJ: It sucks when you get the giggles in a serious scene. Everybody forgets their lines on set, even though we've all learnt them!

LL: I'm quite well-behaved, but there "might" have been once or twice...

TL: My biggest problem is laughing. When you work closely with your cast mates, it's hard to take them seriously when they're angry in a scene. You just end up losing it!
